Farmers Market is closed until May 2017.
Jasper Farmers Market Association (JFMA) is operated by a committee of local vendors and volunteers. The market completed its seventh year in 2016.
Come early for best selection. Even though market is open Saturday mornings from 8 am to noon, many vendors sell out the first hour. Chat with the vendors if you have questions. They are happy to answer questions about their growing methods and many will tell you their best recipes for cooking with fresh produce.
Market vendors must agree to the bylaws of JFMA, stating that each vendor is responsible for what they sell. Produce should be locally grown and crafts should be handmade. The only exceptions are for non-profit organizations who want to use market space for a fundraiser. No live animals or pets may be sold. Market managers have the right to refuse any vendor whose items do not meet the criteria of the market.
Dates and hours of operation: open during the growing season, May – November, closed for August; 8 to noon every Saturday morning. Closed during the winter, and closed for Butterfly Fest, third Saturday in October.
Location: Intersection of Highways 190 and 96 in Jasper, Tractor Supply parking lot, northeast corner
Cost of booth: $10 / Saturday, or $30 / month, or $100 annually. Holiday Market is the last market of the season, Mid-November, and has extended hours. First-time vendors can pick up a vendor packet at market 7:30 a.m. Saturday mornings, or download & print by clicking on vendor forms.
