Private well owners are encouraged to test well water annually.  Laws protect municipal waters.  Well owners must have water tested on their own.

Bottles for sampling can be picked up at the Extension office, and YES, you have to use their bottle.  DO NOT take your sample until June 6th, then bring it to the Jasper County  Extension office by 10:00 a.m. on June 7th.

Testing will be conducted by the Sabine River Authority
