Azalea Festival is moving to Sandy Creek Park and will extend from the pond on Marvin Hancock Drive to the Butterfly House on Water Street, PLUS there’s a classic car show in front of the Historical Museum at Main St. and Lamar on the Courthouse Square. Master Gardeners, Master Naturalists, 4-H, Farmers Market and kids activities will be located near City Hall on Main Street, along with Bevil’s Rangers (early Texas re-enactors), pet adoptions, the Gem & Mineral Society and Texas Game Wardens.
The big spring Master Gardener plant sale, the Library Book Sale and the East Texas Photography Club’s Exhibit will all be on Water Street neat the Butterfly House and Arboretum.
Arts & Crafts, food, live entertainment and community services vendors and booths will all be at the pond with the Gazebo.
